Artists in residence

The Geometry Playground team recruited three independent artists for residencies at the Exploratorium. Each artist collaborated with us to develop an exhibit for Geometry Playground.

The Exploratorium has been hosting artist residencies since 1974 to augment its exhibitions and to foster more open-ended investigations.

Tauba Auerbach
Auerbach’s piece, Drawing In Circles, enables visitors to make a geometric drawing they can take with them.
