Procedure for the Formation of a "Glob"

Materials

Preparation
Pour 10 ml of white glue into the beaker.

Measure 2.5 ml of sodium borate solution in a graduated cylinder.

While stirring, add the sodium borate into the beaker.

Wash off any excess white glue. Remove the "glob" from the beaker and put it on a paper towel.

Squeeze the material inside the paper towel in order to absorb the excess water.

Hazards
Wear protective eyewear. Avoid getting the glob on the table, floor, or on your clothes. Materials can irritate the eyes.
