Harpin Boont
Harpin Boont is a jargon or dialect created by residents of Booneville, a small town in northern California. The exhibit contains a tape of a citizen of Booneville telling a story first in Boontling" and then in standard English. By listening you can hear examples of the various sources for some of the dialectÕs words.
