This
"do it yourself" exhibit lets anyone build pulley arrangements
on a table in any configuration desired, changing the distance between
pulleys, number of connected pulleys, diameter of the pulleys, and
belt tension. In the process, one becomes familiar with how a pulley
system works, and how energy can be transmitted from place to place.
