Orange Shadows
Your eye defines white by looking for the brightest object around. In this exhibit, a blue lamp shines on a vase of flowers standing in front of an internally illuminated white plastic box. The shadow of the flowers looks orange since your eye defines the bright blue as white and the shadow becomes white minus blue light or orange light.
