The Digital Snackbar offered a selection of over 50 commercially available CD-ROMs screened by Exploratorium staff, teachers, parents, and students. In addition to commercially available titles, Digital Snackbar highlighted projects produced by museums, schools, and community groups, and hosts presentations by developers, artists, and kids' groups. It included a beginner's area where visitors were able to view the video "The Secret Life of the Word Processor," by Tim Hunkin; participate in regularly scheduled computer dissections; and observe an exhibit that let you look closely at the individual components of a running computer.
