State Space

An n-dimensional space with the property that each point in this space uniquely and completely describes the condition of the system you are studying at some particular time.

As time flows and the dynamical system develops, this point moves and creates a trajectory.

Attractors (strange and non-strange) are the geometrical objects formed by the trajectories of dynamical systems in this state space.
