Frogs: Home Exploratorium


Ichthyostega, prehistoric predecessor to the modern frog, lived 370 million years ago during the Devonian Period. Sometimes referred to as "the first four-legged fish," skeletal remains of this earliest known amphibian was first discovered in East Greenland.
