I n addition to these and many other Inquiry Resources, the SLN also features an area for collaboration and sharing ideas between teachers. As a member of the SLN you're invited to particpate in the Project Exchange, a place where you can propose projects for collaboration or find one that's of interest to you. You'll also have access to the Teacher Connection, a place to find educator's with similar interests, and the Idea Board, a webchat for exchange of ideas and conversation with other educators.

W ithin the Project Exchange you'll find several ongoing wind-related projects including Ms. Tobedetermined in Minnesota who is currently building air-powered machines with her class and is interested in exchanging descriptions of how they work with other classrooms. You're also invited to tune in for a live CU-Seeme transmission from Ross School in Ross, California for their Hot Air Baloon Launch later this month. Several classes have been working for weeks to build their own hot-air balloons and will be sending them skyward on March 16.

L astly, we've including a list of related sites across the internet which might be helpful in your investigations of wind and other related topics. We hope that you find the materials helpful and will return to the SLN. We're welcome to feedback about what you liked and how we might do things differently. Please enjoy.
