Happenings on The Ice and at the Museum
Throughout
the six weeks our crew was in Antarctica, our Webcast
studio was hopping. Visitors tried on the offical NSF
parka, looked at maps showing our team's whereabouts,
and watched spectacular video.
Our
online audiences were treated to over forty Webcasts
between December 1, 2001, and January 12, 2002. They
included conversations with penguins, a dive under the
Antarctic ice shelf, a climb up volcanic Mt. Erebus,
and Christmas at McMurdo Station. In addition, the team
gathered questions from our studio and online visitors,
and searched for answers to provide in later Webcasts.
We
invite you to browse our archive of events and enjoy
the wealth of insight into Antarctica's scientific life.
You
will need the free
