A
large pool of slowly undulating fog is evocative of the
cloud tops of Jupiter and Venus as well as of fog forming
in the valleys of Mars. Generated by an ultrasonic fog
machine, the cool, dense water mist flows like dry ice
fog. The top surface is alive with waves and complex convection
currents. Side lighting accentuates the patterns. Viewers
will be able to run their hands through the fog and alter
the currents. When left undisturbed, the fog will slowly
churn, constantly changing due to its own internal dynamics.
