The Web Science Workshop is a
week long conference held at the University of San Francisco and
sponsored by The Wright Center and The Exploratorium. During this
conference, teachers will have access to the World Wide Web 24 hours
a day and have the opportunity to create web pages as well as
participate in web-related workshops.
Introduce educators to the World Wide Web and help them
comfortably cruise and search the Internet.
Provide resources and information for teachers to "hook-up" to
the web at their school site/district.
Provide time for teachers to explore and discover on-line
educational resources.
Model "hands-on" examples of how to use the web in the
classroom.
Provide time, resources and instruction so that teachers can
create their own personal web pages and on-line lessons

Store teacher-made web pages on a World Wide Web server and
provide instruction on how to access and update these pages.
