Here are some of my hobbies.

Cycling: I love cycling. My first major experience on a bike was touring from Canada to Mexico with my buddy Brian R. in the summer of 81'. Brian and I then toured Vancouver Island by mountain bike in 85'. Around this same time I won the the sport division and became a Arizona State mountain bike champion.( It was actually a pretty small field but alas it was a NORBA sanctioned event.) In 87' I worked as one a the very first bicycle ( if not the first) messengers in Phoenix Az. I also worked as a bicycle messenger for a summer of love in the great city of San Francisco. I toured East and Central Africa on a mountain bike with my wife Ann for some 7 odd months. And finally working as a bicycle tour guide for Backroads Bicycle Touring. As you may have guessed I am an avid bicycle commuter. Wow too many "I" statements I guess you get the picture that I REALLY enjoy cycling.

Marin Co. has so many awesome rides Ill name just a few for you here and then hook you up with some cool links.Later Ill try to scan in some maps to aid you in the search for the ultimate ride.

ROAD

• Mt. Tam loop via Bolinis-Fairfax raod, through Mill Valley and then following Camino Alto through to Fairfax.( approx 35+miles)
• Paradise Drive loop. Around the Tiburon peninsula. ( 20+ miles depending where you start)
• Niscassio out to the cheese factory.
• Marshal via the Petuluma raod.

MOUNTAIN

• Nite rides on any single track on Mt. Tam.
• Edlridge to North Side, then to Rifel Range to Mt. Theater to Matt Davis to West point; Inn Rail Road Grade to Ho Hou Kooo to Indian fire which connect you back to Edlridge. This is an Awesome loop Approx 28-30 miles.
• Troop 80 ( after dark then Muir woods to heavens gate)
• King Mt. Loop ( from down town Larkspur)
• Coastal trail ( loop around China Camp)
• Now thats a C OO L bike!
