Carausius morosus
Purpose to study the swaying motion of the walkingstick and find the origin of the vibration by comparing the movement in different structures along the body of the insect. We know that the insect responds to two stimuli: a change in ambient air velocity and abrupt movements of the substrate on which the insect is perched.
