The first year offers the student an approach to understanding the basics while looking at today's electronics. The curriculum includes: basic concepts, electrical quantities and units basic circuits and laws, circuit components, instruments and measurements, semi-conductor theory, and junction diodes. Modern laboratory equipment provides students with an opportunity to experiment in a fascinating and rapidly advancing field.
Second year students will devote the entire year to digital electronics. The curriculum includes: binary, basic logic theory, Boolean
Algebra, logic circuitry, minicomputer operation, micro-processor theory. Each student designs and constructs a digital circuit project
of his/her choice. Special training in project report writing, utilizing data gathered from the project, provide additional preparation for entry into industry or advanced educational programs.
