The rather
bland-looking screen of a color television is exposed to a strong
magnetic field. Beautiful colors appear as the electrons are bent
along different paths than the TV's manufacturer intended on their
way through the shadow mask to hit the screen. The colors change
depending on the distance and orientation of the magnet from the
TV.
