Laser Communicator

The laser communicator sends sounds on a journey across the museum and back on a laser beam. The visitor speaks into a microphone which changes the sound (variations in air pressure) into rapid variations in the intensity of a laser. The beam procedes across the museum and back, then down into the exhibit and onto a photocell. The photocell and its associated electronics change the light intensity variations back into the original sound which is heard on a speaker.
