LIGHT ISLAND is a wonderful
multi-faceted exhibit that allows experimentation with many aspects
of light. Using only inexpensive mirrors, filters, prisms, and Plexiglas
lenses, the visitor can play with light and observe reflection,
refraction, color mixing and separation, and many other optical
phenomena.
