LUNAR LANDER
is a commercial electronic game that challenges the player to sucessfully
operate a space module by simulated operation of corrective rockets
to rotate, adjust speed of horizontal motion and vertical decent,
and to gently land on the moon's surface. It draws on users' hand-eye
coordination skills and demonstrates some of the complexities of
space travel involving gravitational forces, momentum and inertia.
