Since its
opening in 1969, the Exploratorium’s exhibits have been created
and cared for by staff in our machine, electronic and woodworking
shops. Their expertise, and visitor contributions, have helped refine
the hundreds of hands-on experiments that have made the Exploratorium
unique among science centers worldwide.
