The
MICROSCOPE IMAGING STATION allows visitors to explore biological
phenomena through both mediated and independent activities. The
Demonstration Area has been equipped with dissecting and upright
microscopes, promoting easy interaction with staff as visitors
move from unaided observation of specimens to higher-magnification
exploration. Visitors at the primary viewing area use a straightforward
computer interface to operate fully motorized light microscopes
in this area; patrons can also observe staff and visiting researchers
studying various biological samples.
