Ohm's Law

This exhibit explors the variables in Ohm's law which says that the current in a circuit is proportional to the voltage across the circuit and inversly pro-portional to the circuit's resistance. The visitor selects both voltage and resis-tance by plugging in to one of a selection of sockets. Any voltage from 2 to 12 volts and resistance from 6 to 12 ohms may be selected. The current resulting from the choice is read on a meter. A voltage meter is also present to monitor circuit voltage.
