Professor Pulfrich's Universe PROFESSOR PULFRICH'S UNIVERSE is an Artist-in-Residence piece containing many different moving objects. When you look at the shadows of these moving objects with a piece of smoked Plexiglass(R) over one of your eyes, your brain perceives depth. The Pulfrich effect describes this effect whereby delaying the light entering one of your eyes causes you to see depth.
