Slow Blue
In SLOW BLUE, visitors
can observe how their eyes respond more slowly to blue light than
to red or green light. Three colored lights project small dots of
color on a screen. Moving the handle on this exhibit makes the dots
move back and forth on the screen. Although all three spots are
moving together at the same rate, the eyes perceive the blue spot
as lagging behind the red and green spots.
