POWER

Power is a measure of how rapidly you do work. If you do work slowly, that requires low power. If you do the same work rapidly, you require more power. The unit of power is the "Watt". Just to get the definition clear, the unit of energy that physicists use is the "Joule". If you lift one kilogram vertically by one meter, you've done about 10 joules of work. If you do that work in one second, you need 10 watts of power. If you take 10 seconds to do the same job, you need only 1 watt of power. Work is the rate at which you use energy.
