Violin Air Resonance

Violin Air Resonance shows how air resonates in a soundbox typical of stringed instruments. You can strike any of three tuning forks and hold it over the opening in a violin-shaped chamber. By altering the size of the opening with a slide, you can hear where the sound from the tuning fork is loudest.
