Local Eclipse Events and Web Sites
The Hungarian towns of Székesfehérvár, Szombathely, and Siófok will celebrate the eclipse with folk performance festivals. Church bells will sound during totality, followed by evening fireworks. The town of Ópusztaszer will erect several giant projection screens to show phenomena not visible to the naked eye, and video of the approaching shadow from locations nearby on the path of totality.
