As Internet access and mobile phones become more pervasive, it may seem that the digital divide is disappearing. However, there is differential access to expertise and pedagogical supports needed in learning how to use applications and tools, and how to critique digital information. A lack of resources that foster the learning process is a large barrier to gaining media literacy and digital fluency. How do institutions, community organizations, museums, and schools work together to support equity and access so that everyone can use digital tools proficiently?
