Circular Scales
Circular Scales lets you compare the sound steps of a major scale with those of a less familiar one. It consists of two circular xylophones, one arranged to play a major scale and the other to play a whole tone scale. In playing both xylophones, you can hear two different ways of dividing an octave, demonstrating that there is more than one system from which to create music.
