A plastic panel is rolled
on top of what appear to be very pushed-out-of-shape rollers. Surprisingly,
the panel rides smoothly on top of them despite their apparent random
shape. The circle is not the only curve that is of constant diameter.
The four rollers in this exhibit are examples of an infinite variety
that one can construct with simple geometric procedures.
