Light Painting
How did he do it? This is an example of using Electro-luminescent wire for light painting. The green wire glows white when over-exposed but shows its true colors as itÕs moved through the air. When moved in the right way EL wire can even make sculptural forms.
Walter was inspired by images he had seen of Pablo Picasso painting with candles and flashlights. He began light painting with his cellphone and LEDs on a friendÕs keychain. In the Learning Studio we tried PicoCrikets with programmable LEDs and electro-luminescent wire. Outside we tried streetlights and the moon.
