STEP 1
First you can check a
"Geochron" to see which parts of earth are in the daylight
(facing the sun) or in the dark (away from the sun.) Click
on this URL address to see a chart that shows you:

STEP 2
You can also find out the exact
time of day (or night) for most major cities across the
globe. The site I'll link you to lists times by the
"24-hour" clock system. In this system 1:00 PM is listed as
13:00 and 2:00 PM is listed as 14:00, etc. (Scroll to the
bottom of the site's page to learn what the + and * signs
mean on the chart.) Here's the site:
