Understanding
that different people would be interested in different kinds
of content, we developed a range of activities for users to
engage in. We let the exhibits themselves inspire the kinds
of content found in each exhibit section rather than forcing
the types of content into consistent categories. We also wanted
to test many different varieties of content to discover the
kinds of information most compatible with this media. As a result,
not all of the exhibit sections offered explanations, developmental
histories, teaching exercises, and so forth; instead, each one
offered the most appropriate content for that exhibit.
