The
pages were intentionally designed to be friendly and informal.
We used a web interface with "back" buttons and graphical
links. Although the pages could be displayed by standard
internet browsers, we used a specialized browser called
Glimmer, which was then customized by HP Labs so that
we could log and save pages accessed by users, play video
clips, and perform other custom operations.
